Mitchell Gallery of Flight

Mitchell Gallery of Flight is a nonprofit, volunteer-built aviation museum inside Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, preserving and sharing southeast Wisconsin’s flight heritage in a public pre-security terminal setting. Its exhibits connect Milwaukee aviation pioneers and General Mitchell Field with aircraft, airport history, military service, the Tuskegee Airmen, Charles Lindbergh and astronaut Jim Lovell; displays include aircraft and cockpit pieces, historic photographs, models, NASA and Apollo/Gemini artifacts, and changing local-aviation interpretation.
