Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre

Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre in Angus preserves the history of Great Britain's first operational military air station, established in 1913 and closed in 1952. The volunteer-run museum presents restored RAF buildings, aircraft, engines, artifacts and personal stories, including a full-size B.E.2a replica and Panavia Tornado GR4. The operator currently lists Thursday-Saturday 10:00-16:00 and Sunday 12:00-16:00, last entry 15:00, with no booking required; 2026 standard admission is £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and free for under-16s, with higher Gift Aid prices available.
