Morayvia Science and Technology Centre

Morayvia is a volunteer-run aerospace and science visitor centre in Kinloss, created to preserve Moray’s RAF, Navy and Army aviation heritage and the Nimrod legacy of former RAF Kinloss. Its collection includes Nimrod sections and cockpits, Sea King and Wessex helicopters, Cold War aircraft and other restored airframes, plus engines, artefacts, oral histories and a 7-metre mobile planetarium. The former Abbeylands school site offers indoor exhibits and outdoor aircraft; public entry follows the charity’s seasonal opening dates and any special access arrangements, so visitors should check Morayvia before travelling.
