Mount Stromlo Observatory Visitor Centre

Mount Stromlo Observatory Visitor Centre is the interpretive public gateway to the Australian National University's historic astronomical research site in Canberra. ANU Heritage documents exhibits on the Oddie Telescope, wartime optical work, the MACHO project and Indigenous astronomy; ANU's current visitor notice says the Cafe and Visitor Centre are temporarily closed while the Observatory site, Heritage Trail, Director's Residence and scheduled events remain available to the public.
