France’s National Air and Space Museum at Paris–Le Bourget traces ballooning, aviation and space through historic aircraft, spacecraft, rockets, models, engines and related objects. Highlights include Concorde, a Boeing 747, a Dakota, Ariane rockets and space-program exhibits, while the preserved terminal and tower, Planète Pilote, simulators and cultural and educational interpretation connect visitors with the people and technologies of flight. The museum provides wheelchair-accessible transit and tactile or immersive Concorde interpretation; access to individual aircraft interiors can vary. Operator visitor guidance lists opening Tuesday–Sunday from 10:00–17:00 with last entry at 16:30 from October 1 through March 31, and 10:00–18:00 with last entry at 17:30 from April 1 through September 30. It is closed Mondays, December 25 and January 1. Permanent-exhibition admission is free for visitors up to age 26; standard admission for older visitors is €17, with a €14 reduced rate, while boarding aircraft costs €8 or €6 and is free for children up to age 4. The first Sunday of each month is free. Large bags and suitcases over 55 × 35 × 20 cm are not accepted; free lockers must be emptied the same day.
