Musée de l'Aéropostale Jean Mermoz preserves Saint-Louis's role in the pioneering Latécoère/Aéropostale route between Europe, West Africa, and South America. Senegal's national tourism agency describes the museum's photographs, paintings, aircraft models including a Breguet 14, silhouettes, posters, and archival documents about Mermoz, Saint-Exupéry, and the mail route; the Ministry of Culture and Tourism likewise recommends it as a Saint-Louis aviation destination. A current 2026 visitor listing places the two-room museum at the Syndicat d'Initiative, open Monday–Saturday 09:00–12:30 and 15:00–17:30 with paid entry.
