Museo Nacional de Aviación de El Salvador preserves the country's military, civil and commercial aviation history in the former international airport terminal at Ilopango. Its non-profit collection includes combat, transport and training aircraft, helicopters, historical rooms, guided visits and a public aviation library. The current Fuerza Aérea Salvadoreña visitor page lists Monday–Sunday access from 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:00, $1 admission (free for children under 7 and older adults), and guided visits for schools, tourists and the public; access remains subject to active-airfield procedures.
