Museu Asas de Um Sonho

Museu Asas de Um Sonho is a public aviation museum reopened in 2024 inside the Fábrica São Pedro cultural complex in Itu, São Paulo. It preserves the former Museu TAM collection, with more than 100 aircraft in its historical holdings and more than 700 historical items; current Itu pages describe 13 aircraft and themed exhibitions covering Brazilian and world civil and military aviation, including Santos-Dumont material, aircraft, vehicles and aviation-operation artifacts. A separate partnership with the Brazilian Air Force is transferring additional aircraft toward the future Museu Aeroespacial Paulista (MAPA) at Campo de Marte in stages, so the current on-site and public-display list can change; verify the operator’s exhibition updates before travel. Visit days, hours, admission and guided/group arrangements vary; the operator sells tickets on site and says one ticket covers Asas de Um Sonho and FAMA, while other complex areas may be separate. Exhibition rooms are wheelchair accessible and up to three loan wheelchairs are available first-come, though some outdoor complex areas have mobility limits; pet access varies by exhibition area. Current visitor address: Rua Padre Bartolomeu Tadei, 09, Alto, Itu, São Paulo 13300-190, Brazil.
