Museu da Aviação Naval

Museu da Aviação Naval is the Brazilian Navy’s public museum of naval aviation at the Base Aérea Naval de São Pedro da Aldeia in Rio de Janeiro state. Founded in 2000, it preserves original and replica aircraft, engines, equipment, models, photographs, documents and manuals that trace Brazil’s naval-air history; selected aircraft cabins and models may be opened for immersive visits. Admission is free. Current public hours are Wednesday–Friday 09:30–11:30 and 13:15–16:00, and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 10:00–17:00. Groups of 10–50 must arrange their visit in advance on +55 22 2621-4012 or +55 22 2621-4133; scheduled weekday group visits use a morning end time of 11:15.
