The Museum of the History of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Armenia, founded in 1998 at Zvartnots Airport, traces Armenian civil aviation from the first Tbilisi–Yerevan flight in 1933 through the present. Its 2,000-plus exhibits include documents, collections, photographs, books, aircraft models, pilots’ uniforms and other artifacts documenting Armenian aviation and its pilots. It is maintained by the Republic of Armenia’s Civil Aviation Committee; confirm current visitor arrangements with the operator.
