Museum of Aviation at Warner Robins

Museum of Aviation at Warner Robins is a 51-acre U.S. Air Force heritage museum beside Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, preserving American military aviation from World War II through the jet age. Four climate-controlled exhibit buildings and outdoor displays present about 85 historic aircraft, missiles, cockpits and award-winning exhibits, including the SR-71A Blackbird, B-29B Superfortress, F-4D Phantom II, P-40N Warhawk and other aircraft tied to Robins’ logistics and service history. The campus includes the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame, STARBASE Robins, restoration and education programs, interactive cockpit exhibits, and guided or self-guided visits across the collection. The museum opened to the public on November 9, 1984. Admission and parking are free; public hours are Monday–Saturday 09:00–17:00 and Sunday 13:00–17:00. It is open only until 13:00 on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve and closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The entrance is just south of Robins Air Force Base’s Russell Gate along Highway 247; confirm current gate and security guidance before travel. Museum rules prohibit pets except seeing-eye and other special-needs animals, unauthorized aircraft or vehicle entry and crossing roped or barricaded areas.
