Museum of Berkshire Aviation

Museum of Berkshire Aviation is a charitable aviation museum on the historic Woodley Airfield site near Reading, preserving Berkshire’s aircraft-building heritage. Miles, Handley Page and Fairey aircraft, engines, reconstructions, pictorial records and archives connect visitors to the companies and people who made Woodley a centre of British aviation. The museum supports group and school education, with demonstrations and interpretation that trace aviation technology and local industry. The operator lists summer hours from April through October as Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays 10:30–17:00, and winter hours from the first Sunday in November through the last Sunday in March as Sunday 12:00–16:00 and Wednesday 10:30–16:00. Admission is £6 for adults, £5 for children, £16 for a family ticket covering two adults and up to two children, and £5 per person for group visits; cash and debit or credit cards are accepted. The Wokingham Borough Council car park requires visitors to take a 15-minute free ticket, obtain the museum’s validation code at the front desk and validate the session to keep parking free; display a valid ticket to avoid a penalty.
