Museum of Flying

The Museum of Flying at Santa Monica Airport presents Southern California aviation history, including Donald Douglas and the Douglas Aircraft Company, in a nearly 22,000-square-foot display and exhibit area. Nearly two dozen aircraft, aviation art, rare artifacts, hands-on interactive cockpits, a screening room and runway views connect the history of flight with the region’s aerospace industry. The official visitor schedule is Thursday–Sunday, 10:00–16:00; private events can cause closures, so check the current calendar before travel. Free parking is available near the museum, while admission and payment arrangements are current operator terms.
