NASA Marshall Space Flight Center

NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, founded in 1960 in Huntsville, is NASA’s lead center for space transportation and propulsion and a major developer and integrator of Space Launch System and Orion systems. Marshall’s legacy includes Saturn rockets, Skylab, lunar rovers, Space Shuttle propulsion, Spacelab, Hubble, Chandra and International Space Station laboratory modules; current work spans Artemis, Human Landing System, Gateway, space habitats, science missions and mission operations. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is Marshall’s official public visitor center; the active Redstone Arsenal campus remains subject to NASA and Army access guidance.
