Nationaal Militair Museum

The Nationaal Militair Museum at the former Soesterberg Air Base unites the Netherlands’ army and military-aviation collections in a public museum and airbase experience. Its durable aerospace offering includes nineteen aircraft and helicopters, outdoor displays such as the Breguet Atlantic, Fokker F-27 and F-86F Sabre, the historic airbase landscape, aviation-building viewpoint, collection stories and hands-on public programmes. The operator welcomes visitors Tuesday–Sunday 10:00–17:00, also opening Mondays during government school holidays; it is closed on 25 December, 1 January and King’s Day (27 April), while other public holidays are open. Time-slot reservations are no longer required.
