National Air Force Museum of Canada

The National Air Force Museum of Canada at 8 Wing/CFB Trenton preserves Canadian military aviation and honours RCAF service through more than 35 historic aircraft, over 75,000 square feet of exhibits and the 16-acre RCAF Memorial Airpark. Its collection and galleries span Canadian air-force history, with the restored Handley Page Halifax NA337—the world’s only fully restored Halifax bomber on display—alongside monuments, memorials, simulators, interactive exhibits, a volunteer restoration workshop and education programmes. For May–September, the operator lists museum hours as Monday 10:00–21:00 and Tuesday–Sunday 10:00–17:00; last admission is 16:30 and the Airpark closes at 16:45. October–April hours are Wednesday–Sunday 10:00–17:00, with the same last-admission and Airpark-closing times. Seasonal admission is listed as $15 for adults ages 18–64, $10 for seniors 65+ and students 13–17, $7 for youth 6–12, free for children 0–5, and $40 for a family ticket covering two adults and three children (maximum five people) in spring–summer; winter rates are $13, $8, $8, $6 and free respectively. CAF members and veterans are by donation, and groups of 15 or more must book in advance. The Museum and Airpark are fully scooter- and wheelchair-accessible; wheelchairs and scooters are available on site, and free parking is provided. Accessible parking is available across from the main entrance, and vehicles may stop there for drop-off but may not park because it is a fire route. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult; service animals are welcome, but pets and other animals are not permitted. Outside food may be eaten only in designated areas, and no food or drink is sold on site.
