National Aviation Hall of Fame

National Aviation Hall of Fame is a nonprofit Dayton aviation-history and education destination co-located inside the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Founded in 1962 and chartered nationally by Congress, it honors more than 200 aviation and space pioneers, including the Wright brothers, Amelia Earhart, Charles Lindbergh, astronauts and aerospace innovators. Heritage Hall and the Education Center combine interactive exhibits, education programs, events and the Joe Clark Innovation Lab to connect aviation history with future flight. Admission is free; access, parking and event arrangements follow the operator current guidance. This is a distinct hall and nonprofit from the adjacent National Museum of the United States Air Force.
