National Museum of Flight

National Museum of Flight is Scotland's national aviation museum at the historic East Fortune Airfield in East Lothian. Its public hangars and grounds present more than 50 aircraft and aerospace stories, including the Concorde Experience, Boeing 707, civil- and military-aviation galleries, Fantastic Flight interactive exhibits, the world's first passenger jet de Havilland Comet and an Avro Vulcan bomber. The museum also interprets East Fortune's wartime airfield and the 1919 R34 first Britain-to-United States transatlantic flight, with current expert talks and learning programmes. National Museums Scotland publishes paid public admission, advance timed-ticket booking, free parking and current April–October daily 10:00–17:00 access plus November–March weekend 10:00–16:00 access.
