National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force

The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force in Pooler preserves the stories of the Eighth Air Force from World War II to the present through aircraft, mission exhibits, archives, oral histories, immersive interpretation, the B-17 City of Savannah, and the Memorial Garden. The current public experience includes accessible galleries, the Roger A. Freeman Research Center, education and H+STEM programs, talks, and special events. The official visitor contract is Monday closed; Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–17:00; Sunday 12:00–17:00; and closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Admission is $13 for adults, $12 for seniors, $10 for retired military, $9 for active-duty military/spouses and children 6–12, $8 for active-duty children, free for children under 6 and WWII veterans; published hours can change for special events.
