National Observatory and Planetarium of Kosovo

The National Observatory and Planetarium of Kosovo is a purpose-built public astronomy center in Rashincë that opened on 20 June 2024. Its two neighboring domes contain a 50-seat planetarium and an observatory with a 14-inch Celestron telescope, while a large hydrogen-alpha solar telescope supports daytime observing from the terrace. Astronomy Outreach of Kosovo manages the facility, which was developed with national and municipal funding and hosts planetarium presentations, telescope sessions, lectures, school visits, and public observing events.
