National Space Museum

NASRDA’s National Space Museum at the Obasanjo Space Centre in Abuja preserves Nigerian space-program heritage. Commissioned on 25 April 2019, guided visits led by NASRDA scientists and engineers trace the programme’s origins, current work and future. Displays include models of NigeriaSat-1, NigeriaSat-X, NigComSat-1 and NigComSat-1R, the flight-qualified NigeriaSat-2 structural model, launch-vehicle models, meteorite material, astronomy and astronaut corners, Julie Payette items and a Space Ambassador hall of fame. NASRDA’s current visitor page lists Monday–Friday 09:00–16:00 opening and fees of ₦500 for primary school children, ₦600 for secondary students, ₦700 for tertiary students or NYSC members, and ₦1,000 for adults. Public access is organized through NASRDA; opening days, fees and group arrangements can change, and schools, organizations and other groups should submit a formal letter to the Director General/Chief Executive stating the visit date, number of visitors and time.
