Naval Hill Planetarium is a public digital planetarium in Bloemfontein historic Lamont-Hussey Observatory building on Naval Hill, operated by the University of the Free State Centre for Earth and Space with Mangaung partners. As the first digital planetarium in sub-Saharan Africa, it presents immersive astronomy and space-science shows from atomic to cosmological scales and supports school and community outreach.
