DLR’s Neustrelitz Ground Station is a multi-antenna Earth-observation ground segment that acquires, processes, archives and distributes payload data from remote-sensing and small-satellite science missions. The National Ground Segment supports the German space programme, ESA and industry, provides satellite-command services to DLR’s German Space Operations Center, backs up selected missions, generates near-real-time data products and operates the DEMMIN calibration and validation site. DLR’s published station specifications include 7.3 m and 11.5 m antennas in L/S/X/Ka bands, telemetry-tracking-and-command capability, and a security fence with 24-hour security guard.
