New England Air Museum

The New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks, Connecticut preserves and presents New England’s aviation and aerospace history across three exhibit hangars and Restoration Park, with more than 100 aircraft, engines and artifacts. Its official history traces the parent Connecticut Aeronautical Historical Association to an initial meeting in 1959, incorporation in 1960, the decision to create a museum in 1962 and the Bradley Air Exhibit’s first public season in 1968; the facility adopted the New England Air Museum name in 1984. Current visitor hours are Monday–Sunday 09:00–16:00, with last admission at 15:30; listed holiday closures are New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Admission is $23 for adults, $13 for youth, $18 for seniors 65+, $12 for veterans with valid ID and free for children under 3. Standard admission covers the three main hangars; Restoration Park is weather-dependent and closed in winter. Group reservations require at least 10 people and should allow up to two weeks for scheduling; VIP aircraft tours are by appointment only and also require advance scheduling.
