North Pole Ground Station is SSC Space’s operational commercial satellite ground station in North Pole, Alaska, about 16 kilometres southeast of Fairbanks; NASA network material also lists the site as North Pole Satellite Station. The station provides telemetry, tracking and command plus data downlink through independent S-, X- and Ka-band systems, with high-inclination and polar-orbit coverage useful for launch-and-early-orbit and routine LEO mission support. This is an operator facility rather than a public visitor attraction: SSC publishes service and location information but no routine public-visit programme, so arrange access with SSC and do not assume walk-in entry. Use the coordinates as an operational reference and verify current operator and local access guidance before field planning.
