Observatorio Astronómico de Córdoba is the historic urban headquarters of the National University of Córdoba's astronomy program. Established in 1871, the institution helped build Argentina's foundational star catalogues, astrophotography, timekeeping, mapping, and meteorological work. Its current public program combines guided visits through the observatory museum with the historic Equatorial Telescope and, when skies permit, live observing. The central campus also operates a planetarium, and its regular evening visitor sessions are designed for walk-in public participation.
