Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre

Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre is a charitable-trust aviation heritage destination at Omaka Aerodrome near Blenheim, presenting rare First and Second World War aircraft, memorabilia and personal items through the immersive Knights of the Sky and Dangerous Skies exhibitions. Most aircraft and memorabilia are on loan from private collectors, and detailed dioramas and film-created displays interpret the people and technology of the two world wars. The operator currently lists daily visitor hours of 09:00-16:00. For the Knights of the Sky WW1 exhibition, admission is 30 NZD for adults age 15+, 12 NZD for children ages 5-14, and 75 NZD for a family of two adults and four children; Dangerous Skies WW2 admission is 25 NZD, 10 NZD and 65 NZD respectively. A combined ticket is 49 NZD for adults, 16 NZD for children and 120 NZD for the family ticket; children under 5 enter free. Private guided tours are available by prior arrangement and cost 15 NZD per person with a minimum of five, or 78 NZD for a small group, in addition to admission.
