Pakistan Air Force Museum

Pakistan Air Force Museum beside PAF Base Faisal on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi was inaugurated on 14 August 1997 and opened to the public in October 1997. Its landscaped grounds display F-86 Sabre, F-104 Starfighter, Mirage, FT-6 and F-6, T-33, MiG-15, MFI-17, An-12 and other aircraft and air-defence equipment. The archives gallery includes the Quaid-e-Azam aircraft and an Indian Gnat, while other galleries cover aerial warfare, PAF heroes, squadrons and bases; visitor facilities include a souvenir shop, canteen, children’s fun land, simulator, food area and wheelchairs. The operator currently lists hours Monday-Thursday 09:00-21:00, Friday 15:00-22:00 and Saturday-Sunday 09:00-22:00, open daily year-round. Admission is PKR 150 for adults, PKR 50 for children ages 3-12, students and Army, Navy or Air Force personnel; PAF personnel enter free on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, while senior citizens age 60+ and people with disabilities enter free. Parking is PKR 100 for cars, jeeps and vans, PKR 50 for motorcycles, scooters and rickshaws, and PKR 350 for buses and coasters. The operator states that individuals without family are not permitted, shorts are not allowed, children must be supervised and the management may refuse admission.
