Park of Military History Pivka is a museum and tourist center in the former Pivka barracks, presenting Slovenian and world military history through collections of aircraft, tanks, artillery and other historic hardware. Its aviation display includes an American Thunderjet, Sabre, Romanian IAR-93 Vultur, Yugoslav SOKO 522 and Soviet MiG-21; a MiG-21 flight simulator and optional tours of a submarine and police boat add hands-on visitor value.
