PDO Planetarium
PDO Planetarium is Oman's purpose-built public astronomy theatre at Petroleum Development Oman's Knowledge World campus in Muscat. Beneath an 11-metre dome, its 60-seat digital system presents Arabic- and English-language programmes about astronomy, space, astrophysics, Earth science, planets, stars, galaxies, and comets. The operator offers free admission, publishes Sunday-through-Thursday opening hours, stages special shows on the first Saturday and around the middle of each month, and organizes public telescope stargazing sessions.
