Pima Air & Space Museum

Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson is one of the world’s largest non-government-funded aviation and space museums, preserving and presenting the history of flight across 80 acres and six indoor exhibit hangars with more than 300,000 square feet of indoor display space, 400+ aircraft and 125,000+ artifacts, including historic airframes, space hardware and immersive exhibits. The official visitor guidance lists regular hours October–May as 09:00–17:00 with last admission at 15:00, summer hours June–September as 09:00–15:00 with last admission at 13:30, closure on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, and Christmas Eve hours of 09:00–15:00 with last admission at 13:30. One-day general admission is $22.50 for adults age 13+, with reduced military/veteran, senior, Pima County resident and junior rates and free admission for children ages 0–4; most visitors purchase on arrival. Admission includes the main and World War II hangars, Dorothy Finley Aerospace Gallery, Arizona Aviation Hall of Fame, 390th Memorial Museum and outdoor display grounds. Public tram tours, simulators and aircraft-interior experiences are separate offerings that vary with capacity, weather, staffing or mechanical conditions, and the former Davis–Monthan AFB AMARG Boneyard bus tour is permanently discontinued. All museum buildings and accessible parking near the entrance are accessible; paved walkways connect the Main Hangar and Hangars 3–5, while outdoor areas include hard-packed dirt and loose sand.
