Planetario Ciudad de La Plata is the Universidad Nacional de La Plata's public immersive astronomy center in Paseo del Bosque. Opened in 2013, the accessible building presents 4K digital imagery across a 17-metre dome for 175 visitors and hosts free public shows, school programmes, science talks, and cultural events. Its visitor programme connects the planetarium with the university's historic astronomical observatory, Museum of Astronomy and Geophysics, heritage telescopes, and clear-sky public observing. Current schedules publish multiple free shows from Tuesday through Sunday together with reserved educational visits and weekly public astronomy activities.
