Planetario Huechuraba is a municipal astronomy and science center built on the main civic plaza in northern Santiago and opened in 2024. Its 12-metre hemispherical screen, dual 4K laser projectors, surround sound, and Digistar 7 system create live and recorded full-dome experiences for up to 93 visitors. The current weekend programme includes family astronomy and space-science presentations such as Misión Sistema Solar, Fantasma del Universo, and De la Tierra al Universo alongside cultural shows. Public tickets are sold online, while registered Huechuraba residents can obtain free admission through the municipal membership programme.
