Planetario Humboldt

Planetario Humboldt is Venezuela's historic public planetarium in Caracas's Parque Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda. Operated by the Venezuelan Navy's hydrography and navigation service, its 20-metre dome was designed around a Zeiss Mark III star projector for astronomy, astronautics, and Earth-science education. The planetarium currently offers public weekend programmes with themed hourly presentations and also hosts school astronomy routes, workshops, lectures, and special observing activities.
