Planetario Malargüe

Planetario Malargüe is a municipal astronomy and space-education complex designed around a digital planetarium beneath its blue pyramid. Its five-projector 4K system fills a 10-metre dome with 65 reclining seats, while guided visits extend into an interactive science museum, outdoor solar clocks and calendar, and permanent interpretation of European Space Agency missions and the nearby Malargüe deep-space antenna. Current 2026 programming offers daily self-guided access, public guided tours and dome shows, reserved school and tourism-group sessions, solar observing, and scheduled night-sky activities.
