Planetario USACH is the University of Santiago de Chile's public astronomy and science center, operating a landmark dome opposite Santiago's Estación Central since 1985. Its current programme combines immersive 360-degree full-dome films and live constellation presentations with astronomy workshops, talks, solar observing, and activities for families, schools, and other groups. Public shows run on a published ticketed calendar, while educational visits can be reserved separately. The building is accessible and preserves a Carl Zeiss VI star projector alongside its modern digital projection system.
