Prishtina Observatory is a restored public astronomy and youth-science facility in the Palace of Youth and Sports complex in Prishtina. First opened in 1977, it returned to public use in July 2022 after almost 43 years through the Astronomy Club of Kosova with support from the Prishtina Municipality and UNMIK. The club’s current site says visits are booked directly; it hosts stargazing meetings, school visits, astronomy discussions, telescope observing, and multi-ethnic science outreach. Contact astroclubkosova@gmail.com or +383 44 70 22 70 before travelling; the club lists its office at the Youth & Sports Center, Office 119/42-b, and the observatory in the Palace complex. Check the club’s current event updates and access instructions before visiting.
