Queensland Air Museum

Queensland Air Museum is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run aviation museum near Caloundra Aerodrome preserving Queensland and Australian aviation heritage. Its two-hectare site includes two hangars, a library and restoration facilities with more than 70 aviation displays, including F-111C A8-129, a GAF Mirage and Australia’s oldest DC-3; the wider collection includes engines, equipment, artefacts, photographs and books. A static Boeing 737-800 simulator and Ultimate F-111 experience add hands-on value but are operator-controlled; arrange group or school visits with the museum.
