RAF Manston History Museum

RAF Manston History Museum preserves the story of the historic RAF Manston Battle of Britain frontline airfield through aircraft, cockpits, vehicles, artefacts, photographs and local history. The collection includes Avro Vulcan XA893, English Electric Lightning XR770, SEPECAT Jaguar XZ106, Westland Wessex XS482, Victor XL190 and Canberra WT205, plus Nimrod XV229 and Tornado cockpit displays, a V-1 flying bomb and other restoration projects. Its current admission listing for 1 April 2026–31 March 2027 gives adults aged 16+ £7.00, children under 16 £3.50, under-5s free (up to three per paying adult), concessions £6.00, carers £4.00 and a family ticket £20. The museum publishes an AccessAble detailed guide; the operator says most of the museum is accessible and level, but entry into aircraft can be difficult.
