Regional Observatory for the Public, Khon Kaen is the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand's fourth full-service regional public observatory. Officially opened in December 2024, the 46,400-square-metre campus extends public astronomy access across Thailand's upper northeast. Visitors can attend scheduled digital planetarium shows, explore a free astronomy exhibition, arrange sessions for schools and institutions, and join free staff-led observing every Saturday night. The planetarium, exhibition, and observatory publish a regular Tuesday-to-Sunday schedule.
