Regional Observatory for the Public, Khon Kaen

Regional Observatory for the Public, Khon Kaen is NARIT's fourth full-fledged regional public observatory at 555 Moo 2, Ubol Ratana Dam, Khon Kaen. Opened in December 2024, its 46,400-square-metre campus offers public planetarium shows, a free astronomy exhibition and public stargazing. Current NARIT hours are Tuesday-Sunday 09:00-16:00 (closed Monday); planetarium shows run Tuesday-Friday at 11:00 and 15:00, Saturday at 11:00, 15:00 and 17:00, and Sunday at 11:00 and 15:00. The exhibition is open until 17:00 on Saturdays, and NARIT Public Night runs Saturdays 18:00-22:00 year-round. Planetarium tickets and current service conditions may change, so confirm before travel.
