Romanian Aviation Museum

Romanian Aviation Museum (Muzeul Național al Aviației Române) is Romania’s national aviation museum in Bucharest, occupying historic hangars on the south side of the former Pipera military airfield. Its collection traces Romanian military and civil aviation and aerospace history through aircraft, helicopters, engines, airfield and radar equipment, surface-to-air systems, uniforms, documents, models and astronautics material, including the Romanian-built Fleet 10 G and Nardi FN-305, IAR-93, IAR-316B, MiG-19 and the Soyuz 40 descent module associated with cosmonaut Dumitru Prunariu. The museum is temporarily closed for modernization according to the current National Heritage Institute register and Romanian Air Force notices; a public tourism listing conflicts by showing regular hours, so do not assume access or reopening.
