Royal Air Force Museum London

Royal Air Force Museum London is the Colindale branch of the United Kingdom’s national RAF museum, on the former London Aerodrome site. Six hangars present more than a hundred aircraft and aviation artefacts spanning early flight, the First World War, the Battle of Britain, bombers, helicopters, Cold War aircraft and modern air and space power. Admission is free and advance ticket booking is recommended; current hours, hangar access and temporary maintenance closures can change, so check the operator before travel. On-site vehicle parking is charged and coaches should be booked in advance. The museum has step-free access, wide aisles, lifts, quiet rooms, accessible toilets including a Changing Places facility, loan wheelchairs and mobility scooters, large-print guides, subtitled films, hearing loops and tactile models; only assistance dogs are permitted.
