Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History Aviation Hall Brussels

The Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History Aviation Hall in the Brussels Cinquantenaire complex presents more than 100 years of aviation history, from balloon experiments and early aircraft through World War I and World War II aircraft to the F-16. The Air and Space Hall contains more than 130 aircraft and about 100 aircraft engines alongside helicopters and aerospace artifacts. Current visitor information lists public access Tuesday-Sunday 09:00-17:00, last entry at 16:00, with Monday and January 1, May 1, November 1 and December 25 closures; December 24 and 31 have 09:00-14:00 hours with last entry at 13:00. Adult admission is 12 EUR, youth ages 6-18 9 EUR, children under 6 free, and a family ticket is 36 EUR; first Wednesday afternoons from 13:00 are free. The Government’s Buildings Agency is currently working on the Aviation Hall roof, so some parts may be inaccessible. Most museum galleries are wheelchair accessible, but the Aviation Hall mezzanine and certain galleries are not; assistance dogs are welcome.
