Sands Space History Center is the public-access history center of the Cape Canaveral Space Force Museum, presenting artifacts and launch history from Cape Canaveral’s space program. Admission is free, no Cape Canaveral Space Force Station access pass or scheduled tour is required for this center at 100 Space Port Way, Building 90328, Cape Canaveral, Florida 32920. The official museum publishes normal hours Tuesday-Friday 09:00-16:00, Saturday 09:00-17:00 and Sunday 12:00-16:00; it is closed Monday. The current 2026 schedule lists early closing at 12:30 on August 27, August 28, September 25 and December 22; the center is occasionally used for special or private events, so confirm the live schedule before travel. The center and adjacent property are not available for launch viewing under military regulations.
