Science Museum Oklahoma is a nonprofit Smithsonian Affiliate in Oklahoma City’s historic Kirkpatrick Center and the state’s only hands-on science museum. Its aerospace holdings include the Oklahoma Aviation and Space Hall of Fame, the Aviation Gallery with vintage aircraft such as a 1946 Stinson Voyager and a Tulsa-designed Mong Sport, and Destination Space, which connects visitors with NASA history through a Mercury capsule simulator, real rocket engines and Apollo-era artifacts. Love’s Planetarium adds live, interactive astronomy shows. Consult the operator for current visiting arrangements, programs and accessibility.
