Science Space Planetarium

University of Wollongong Science Space at Innovation Campus in North Wollongong is a public hands-on science centre with two floors and more than 100 exhibits, live science demonstrations, an Energy Futures Zone and a DIGISTAR 6 planetarium. Planetarium and Science Theatre programmes vary by season and demand; tickets are separate from general exhibit admission, while combined passes bundle entry with shows. Science Space provides five accessible parking spaces, ramped entry, an elevator and an accessible bathroom; up to six wheelchair spaces can be made in the theatre, the planetarium has space for three prams or mobility devices, and one personalised hearing-loop headset is available. The operator currently reports no tactile flooring, Braille signage or captioned shows, and warns that exhibits can be loud and bright.
