Academician Sergei Korolev Memorial House-Museum preserves the Moscow home where the chief designer of Soviet rocket and spacecraft programmes lived and worked from 1959 to 1966. Opened in 1975, the memorial home presents original rooms, personal effects, working papers, a library and other items transferred for public preservation by Nina Koroleva, interpreting the work behind Sputnik, Vostok, Voskhod and Soyuz. It is a branch of the Moscow Museum of Cosmonautics; current ticketing, excursion arrangements and opening calendars are operator-controlled, so check the branch notice before travel.
