The San Francisco Airport Commission Aviation Library and Louis A. Turpen Aviation Museum is SFO’s public museum of commercial aviation, airline history and San Francisco International Airport’s West Coast and Pacific role. Housed in an architectural adaptation of the airport’s 1930s passenger lobby in the pre-security International Terminal Main Hall, it offers free exhibitions, research services and educational programmes. SFO Museum maintains a growing collection of more than 150,000 objects related to commercial air transport and the airline industry, with additional rotating galleries across the terminals.
