Shannon Aviation Museum is an interactive Irish aviation museum and discovery centre in Shannon. Its public collection includes military fighters and historic aircraft such as the Blackburn Buccaneer, Fouga Magister, Supermarine Spitfire cockpit, SEPECAT Jaguar, English Electric Lightning, Avro Anson and BAC 1-11, alongside a broad cockpit, engine, artefact and memorabilia collection. The Irish Air Corps Display Hall preserves 100 years of Irish military aviation, including the collection moved from the former Baldonnel Air Corps Museum. Flight simulation, guided and interactive-audio tours, and aviation education add hands-on visitor value. The operator publishes wheelchair access and guide-dog acceptance; current public hours, tour availability, booking and seasonal arrangements follow its live visitor guidance.
