South Australian Aviation Museum in Port Adelaide presents South Australian aviation and aerospace heritage across two undercover hangars filled with aircraft, aviation displays, engines, rockets, memorabilia and restoration stories. Displays include an F-111, F/A-18, Spitfire and Woomera rockets; selected aircraft can be entered. Visitors can explore self-guided exhibits, book school or group tours and use nearby public transport. SAAM is open daily 10:00–16:00 except Christmas Day; check the operator for current access or special-event changes. Free onsite parking, accessible facilities and step-free hangar access are available, but aircraft interiors cannot be reached by wheelchair.
